Thank You Karen
Mood:  happy
Now Playing: Valentine's Day Exchange!!
Karen you are so very GENEROUS!!!! I can't even think of the words , to THANKYOU enough for my Valentine exchange gift!!!
I don't even no where to start. I haven't caught my breath yet. I have never in my life had hand dyed Merion Wool, and the color of the wool is beyond BEAUTIFUL. And the Book Stylish Knits for Dogs, way to cool. Elvis will have a BIG smile on his face when I knit him a new sweater with a pattern from this Book!! 8 different coffees. I am going to make 1 special pot of coffee every day for the next 8 days! Matt and I both LOVE flavored coffee's. Some of the flavors I haven't even tried before! That will be such a TREAT for us! I am going to smell so good after my bath with the Cherry Blossom, body splash, shower gel, and soap! I want you to know that i will be taking a nice hot bath tonight, so that I can try the bath things out! The candles are LOVELY and add a wonderful warm scent to the house! Something that we really need on these COLD winter days! Raspberry Cheesecake Hot Cocoa, I can't even imagine how YUMMY that is going to be. I will have a nice hot cup of that this evening , after my wonderful bath. You sent me enough candy to gain 10 lbs LOL, and the little Sweet bear will go into my bedroom on my dresser. I will let Casey sleep with it when she stays over night, She always wants something to cuddle with at bed time. The Beautiful heart towel is hanging in my main floor bathroom! I hope that no one uses it. the Love wall hanging is in my bedroom hanging above my bed, just above the headboard of my bed. The perfect place to hang something like that. The pens and note pads will be used Daily, because i am always making lists, and writing myself notes, so that I don't forget to do something. Before i forget, there is also some Rose scented Rose petals. I will save those for another hot bath. Oh my Goodness Karen, I sure hope that I didn't forget any thing. My Thank You seems so small compared to all you've done, but it comes from my heart!!!!!!!!!!

Slippers for Casey
Mood:  hug me
Now Playing: My sweet Granddaughter
Casey likes pink Camouflage. Earlier this winter I knit her a hat and mittens using this yarn. I had some left over yarn. So I knit this pair of slippers for her, using my favorite slipper pattern. It is easy and knits up fast. I used 2 strands of the pink camouflage yarn held together, so that the slippers would be very warm for her. I put pom, poms on the slippers because little girls need pom, poms on their slippers!!
This pattern is called Aunt Maggie's slippers, the pattern can be found here at http://www.bevscountrycottage.com/maggieslippers.html
I used Red heart yarn, the color Pink Camouflage.

Selbuvotter NHM#4
Mood:  happy

I finished another pair of Selbuvotter mittens. I am truly enjoying knitting these Norwegian mittens. I really like the cuff on this one. It is nice and long. I did go up one needle size when I knit this pair. I used Nature Spun wool, in the colors Cherry delight, and Snow. The pattern is from the book Selbuvotter Biography of a Knitting Tradition.
