My Beautiful Granddaughter Casey and I baked an Anniversary cake for Papa today. Happy Anniversary! We Love you Papa!
I have designed another Folk Mitten, I call this one loves Sweet Song. I used the traditional Norwegian colors of black and white for this mitten. I thought that black and white would be best for musical notes.
I got to meet Kathleen Taylor today at my very favorite LYS Athena's Fibers.
She is a very talented, and gifted knitter, and author. She signed my book, and we had our picture taken together. Look at those Big smiles! You can visit Kathleen's blog here at

I call this mitten Memories of Love, in French I call it Memoires de Lamour. I used Caron Simply Soft Brites. I really love the brightness of the colors. Which are Watermelon, and Limelight. The pattern for this mitten can be found at http://www.freewebs.com/folkmittens
