One Skein Hooded Baby Sweater
My husbands niece is going to have a baby. She is due in September. A great reason, to go out and buy more yarn, and knit. I chose the One Skein Hooded Baby Sweater for this little guy. Yes. The baby is a boy. The pattern can be found at http://www.knitting-crochet.com/oneskehoobabswe.html I really enjoyed making this little sweater. Their were a couple of different stitches in this pattern that I have never done before. It was not a boring st st sweater. Lots of changes in this pattern. I really liked that. But you do have to have 4 stitch holders to knit this pattern. I used Bernat cottontots yarn for this sweater, it has a pretty blue, purple, lime green, and white.

My Garage sale finds
My husband and I went to lunch, and garage sailing today. I wore my chevron knit rib tank top. I went to the ladies room while we were at lunch, and this lady in their went nuts over my tank top. Her daughter just came back from South America. Her daughter is a knitter. She brought back some beautiful yarn from South America, and she was going to have her daughter knit her a Chevron Rib tank top. Luckily I found the pattern on line, and could tell her how to get the pattern.
Then we went garage sailing and I found a huge pink ring. Fun, Fun! I also got a book The Shop on Blossom Street written be Debbie Macomber. It is about Four womens lives and how they are knit together. Their is even a free pattern for a Baby Blanket in the book. How cool is that?? I got the ring and the book for only $3.00.

Now Playing: Knit A Long
I participated in a knit a long with one of my knitting groups. We did the Harry Bear. The pattern for Harry Bear can be found at http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/harry/harrybear.html I used Lion Brand Chenille thick and quick yarn in the color Terracotta for the bear. I used Red Heart Bright and Lofty for his scarf. He is sooooooo soft and fuzzy and cuddly.

Scarf and mittens for Casey
Mood:  hug me
I liked the Multi directional diagonal scarf so much, that I had to make one for Casey. I used Red Heart yarn in the color Red, White, and Blue to match her winter coat. I also used my favorite 2 needle mitten pattern to make her a matching pair of mittens.
