Short Sleeve Crew-Neck Sweater
Mood:  hug me
Now Playing: Sweater for Casey
I knit this cute little sweater for my Granddaughter Casey. It is the first time that I have knit a Crew-Neck sweater. I really like the way that the sweater turned out. It only took 1 skein of TLC Essentials yarn, in the color Light Thyme to knit this little sweater for her. The pattern came from the book 25 Gorgeous Sweaters for the Brand-New Knitter. By Catherine Hann.

Garage Sale Find
My husband and I went garage sailing today. We stopped at an estate sale. They had a ton of yarn there. I got 42 skeins of yarn for $14.00. We had a very nice day.

June
I have knit a very simple tank top. The skill level for this tank top is very easy. And is was very easy to knit. The pattern came from http://www.berroco.com/178/178_june.html A good knitting friend of mine gave me the yarn for this tank top. Thank you Busylady. I used Sinfonia yarn the color Veroe Cristal.

One Skein Hooded Baby Sweater
My husbands niece is going to have a baby. She is due in September. A great reason, to go out and buy more yarn, and knit. I chose the One Skein Hooded Baby Sweater for this little guy. Yes. The baby is a boy. The pattern can be found at http://www.knitting-crochet.com/oneskehoobabswe.html I really enjoyed making this little sweater. Their were a couple of different stitches in this pattern that I have never done before. It was not a boring st st sweater. Lots of changes in this pattern. I really liked that. But you do have to have 4 stitch holders to knit this pattern. I used Bernat cottontots yarn for this sweater, it has a pretty blue, purple, lime green, and white.
