Lacy Mock Cable socks
Mood:  happy
Now Playing: Kool aid dyed yarn
I bought some Knit Picks Bare yarn, and dyed it with Kool aid. Then I decided to knit the yarn into socks. I choose the Lacy Mock Cable Socks pattern. Which can be found here
http://www.islandofmisfitpatterns.com/2006/07/14/lacy-mock-cable-socks/   I did not carry the Mock Cable down the foot of the sock, because I wanted to see the colorway of the dyed yarn. I like the way that the socks turned out.

Hand spun wool
Mood:  happy
Now Playing: Fall Arts Festival

I went to a Fall Arts Festival last Saturday. I bought this hand spun wool from a lady that lives in Groton, South Dakota. she raises the sheep, and cleans the wool and spins it all by herself.

I dyed it with Kool-Aid. I used strawberry, and pink lemonade flavors. To get this color. I think that I will either knit a pair of mittens with it. Or a hat. I haven't decided yet.

I watched a video in You Tube with instructions on how to crochet this necklace. I used craft wire, and wooden beads. I think that it turned out real cute.

Marsan Watchcap
Mood:  surprised

I was knitting this hat for my son Dillon. But when I finished the hat is turned out way to small. I am sure that I will find some one to give it to. The pattern can be found here at
