Marsan Watchcap
Mood:  surprised

I was knitting this hat for my son Dillon. But when I finished the hat is turned out way to small. I am sure that I will find some one to give it to. The pattern can be found here at

The story of this yarn
Mood:  surprised
I was going to dye this yarn with Beautiful deep pink Zinnia petals. But it did not work. I picked the petals and put them in with the yarn and nothing happened. All of the color faded from my Zinnia petals, but it did not dye my yarn.
I had some cherry and strawberry Kool-aid in the house so I  mixed the 2 colors together and dyed the yarn with the Kool-aid. Which worked fine but did not turn out right. I had bare spots in the yarn that stayed white. So I bought some orange Kool-aid and over dyed the red yarn. This is the result of the over dyed yarn. And I LOVE it!!!!!!

Take Along Bag
Mood:  energetic
Now Playing: This is a groovy bag

I think that this is the coolest little bag that I have ever made. It Rocks. It is called a Take Along Bag. The pattern came from the July issue of Creative knitting. I used Red Heart yarn the color Sunshine print. Multi colored little wooden beads for the fringe. And Elvis fabric to line the bag with. My Dear Knitting Friend Sheila sent me the way cool fabric. She knows that I am a huge Elvis fan. Thanks again for the fabric Sheila!
