My felted bag is finished, and I love it!

After washing the bag to felt it. The bag measures 13" tall and 12 1/2" wide. I just love the way that it turned out. The pattern for the bag came from

I have finished knitting my felted bag

I have finished knitting my felted bag. I am going to felt it this afternoon. It is 16" tall, and 13" wide before felting. I can hardly wait to see it after it has been felted. I ran out of my main color for the body of the bag, so I had to finish the bag, and handle with the color Deep Sea. I am sure that it will look OK any way. What I like best about this pattern is, I didn't have to make an I cord for the handle.

bag progress
I have 92 rows done on my felted bag. I ran out of my main color Cherry Delight, and I am going to have to finish the bag with the color Deep Sea. I only have nine rows left on the body of the beg to do, then I can start the handle. Maybe I will finish knitting the bag tomorrow. I hope so. I can hardly wait to see what it looks like felted.

Cable Needles
I went shopping today and found cable needles for the scarf that i am going to make. I found them at Michael's crafts. I haven't had any time to knit yet today, but I will later.

felted bag progress
I have completed 71 rows on my felted bag. I only have 30 rows left to go, and then the handle. Then felting it. I am excited about this bag. I hope that it turns out great!

Their is Thunder, lightening, and rain in South Dakota this morning. So it is a good day to stay in and knit, bake, and do laundry. I have 1 zucchini left, and I am going to use it to bake zucchini bread this morning. I hope to get a lot done on my felted bag today.

Yarn Shopping

I went to Hobby Lobby today to look for yarn for the cabled scarf that I am going to make, and I choose Lion Brand Wool-Ease.The color Fuchsia. I also found some fun looking yarn called Yarn Bee, that I will probably use for a different scarf. but I am not real sure that is what I will use it for. It will sit in my stash for a while. The colors that I bought of Yarn Bee are Sweet Sun, and Frosted gold.

First Day of Fall
I will not be knitting again today, as I am still working on a name doily order. But I have already decided what I am going to knit after I have completed my felted bag. I am going to knit a cabled scarf. I have never done cables before so it will be a challenge for me. I think that I will buy the yarn for the scarf today. Nothing expensive, because I am not sure if I can do it. It is a beautiful chilly Fall morning. I just love mornings like this.
