Glad Hands Gloves
Mood:  on fire
I finished my sisters gloves today. They fit her perfectly! She loved them. I used Noro yarn, the color Kureyon. My sister RoxAnn bought then pattern for me at my LYS. It is knit flat and then folded and sewed up. It was an easy pattern to make. I am going to have to make a few more pairs of gloves for gifts. You can go to the iknitiative web site to purchase the pattern if you would like to have the pattern. I am starting a sweater for my Rat Terrier puppy today. He is 9 1/2 months old now. And it gets very cold in South Dakota in the winter. He will need a nice warm wool sweater.

Gloves
I spent most of the day today knitting. I am making my sister a pair of gloves. They are worked flat then folded over, and seamed up. It is a very easy pattern. My sister bought the pattern for me the other day at my LYS. Thank you Roxann.

Glove pattern
Mood:  happy
I went to lunch, a couple of craft sales, and my LYS with my sister today. They had a really neat pattern for a knitted glove their. I have never knit gloves before. Any way this pattern is worked flat, and then sewn together. I think that I will be able to make this glove. It looks pretty easy. My sister bought me the pattern if I would make her a pair of gloves from the pattern, so of course I said yes. As soon as I am done with the scarf that I am working on I will start her gloves. I have 36 inches done on my angular scarf using variegated yarn. The scarf looks much better done with variegated yarn.

Angus scarf is finished
Now Playing: Lang Tosca Version
I have finished my first Angus angular scarf. I used a solid color for this scarf. I used Lion Brand Jiffy yarn, the color plum. The pattern came from
http://www.smallknits.com/patterns/free%20patterns/angus%20angular%20scarf.pdf
I was supposed to use sock yarn and smaller needles for this scarf, but I wanted to use worsted weight yarn so I did. I used size 7 needles. I am going to make another scarf in variegated yarn so that the angles show up better.
This scarf is 5 inches wide and 52 inches long.

Scarf
I stayed home all day today, and worked on my scarf. This evening I watched a movie and knit on my scarf. I have 31 inches done on it. I am doing it in a solid color. I should have done it in a variegated color, so that the diagonal in the scarf would show better. I may make another one variegated to see the difference. I am using Lion Brand Jiffy yarn the color plum, which I like but the diagonal just doesn't show up enough.
